I can't use metro apps and some other cmd apps with proxy on windows 8 -


i'm having problem pc (windows 8), problem use proxy (located on 127.0.0.1:8080) , can access websites using web browser(s), can use command line tools require intenet connectivity curl (for both http , https), git push, composer, heroku toolbelt , vagrant, when try use tools ping , other cmd network troubleshooting tools 'request timed out' error. likewise sublime sftp plugin gives 'connection timeout error' , cannot use other apps windows store app , other windows 8 metro apps.

please cause of error.

note have done/tried following, yet no avail: 1. set proxy setting under internet options in command prompt(as expected) 2. set http_proxy , http_proxy environment vars 3. done netsh winhttp import proxy source=ie

ubuntu - Selenium Node Not Connecting to Hub, Not Opening Port -

i'm trying set demo selenium grid. have digital ocean ubuntu 14.02 droplet.
