android - First-generation Kindle Fires ADB debugging -


i'm trying use kindle testing android apps, no avail. follow instructions here , here , here, still kindle defined windows 7 normal kindle, not android composite adb interface. prompt me, reason?

there should 2 hardware interfaces 1st gen kindle fire, 1 adb, 1 msc (mass storage mode).

1st gen kindle fire

so it's normal windows detect 1 of them normal kindle. suggest check device manager , see if 2nd interface showed unknown device. once found it, should able associate kindle fire adb driver following steps:

  1. right-click > update drive software
  2. browse computer driver software
  3. let me pick list of device drivers on computer
  4. show devices > next
  5. have disk
  6. browse > select location of kindle fire driver
  7. if goes well, should able select android composite adb interface

ubuntu - Selenium Node Not Connecting to Hub, Not Opening Port -

i'm trying set demo selenium grid. have digital ocean ubuntu 14.02 droplet.
