android - CardView shadow not visible on Lollipop -


i have found weird issue in cardview. when try add programmatically created cardview xml inflated viewgroup, shadow rendered on lollipop devices. if add cardview inside programmatically created viewgroup eg. relativelayout, & add relativelayout in xml inflated viewgroup shadow isn't rendered on lollipop. don't know if have set property os sets automatically while inflating xml views & mandatory set if creating viewgroups programmatically in order draw shadows. please note on pre lollipop devices shadows rendered no matter in viewgroup add cardview. how can resolve issue?
