android - Can't see errors/warnings in Problems view unless project is selected in Package Explorer -


i can not see errors or warnings in eclipse(4.4.2) unless select project or file in package explorer , go problem view.

so far tried different options in "configure contents" , "show" dialogs in problems view menu without success. time see errors in problems view if set options "show all" or "all errors" , shows every issue every project have, don't want/need that. tried (following suggestions other posts) closing/reopening project, build automatically , fix project properties... no luck.

i remember used if had issues in file editing jump straight problems view , show issues project file lives, in other words current project being edited. result want.

android sdk manager date out of ideas. appreciate help.

open 'configure contents' menu , select 'all errors' (click line don't use click check box). should able configure scope of errors on right hand side of dialog (such element in same project) enter image description here
