Distance between bluetooth module and an android device -


i'm trying calculate distance between , android device , hc-05 bluetooth module (connected arduino module: mega 2560), using android app created using appinventor.

for example i'd know if devices 4 meters each other can turn on alarm.

after doing research seems imposible do, seems can done estimate distance sensing rssi indicator.

is possible? if not ,what use?

are elements of project (hc05,arduino, appinventor) ones should using?

is way?

if 2 points within line of sight, can use laser based rangefinder system, or uses "time of flight" using sound wave or light wave. here's 1 found quick google: http://hackaday.com/2014/07/01/pew-pew-an-arduino-based-laser-rangefinder/ run issue omni-directionality though,

if don't have line of sight, you're going have think how signal attenuated whatever in way, because difference in attenuation between brick wall, , gypsum(drywall) wall great.

ubuntu - Selenium Node Not Connecting to Hub, Not Opening Port -

i'm trying set demo selenium grid. have digital ocean ubuntu 14.02 droplet.
