osx - Unable to surf to twitter with chrome: NET: ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID -

after installed ghostery chrome (macos 10.0.5, chrome version 42.0.2311.90 (64-bit), date), chrome can't surf twitter.com without complaining symantec class 3 ev ssl ca - g3 invalid. removed extension, restarted chrome, restarted computer, still issue remains.

safari complains, interestingly, firefox remains able access twitter.com without complaints. implies me certs stored keychain access ok.

has seen this/know how fix? far, i've checked computer's time fine (some posts might issue), , verified accessing twitter account firefox fine.

if there's version of certs stored in chrome , safari can clear fix this, that'd great, clearing generic content cache doesn't seem anything.

any ideas appreciated.

i have tested , solved it, reply in @gui47's comment:

  • go keychain
  • remove verisign class 3 public primary certification authority - g5 certificates sessions or login
  • close everything, reboot

no idea why happened suddenly
