html - Add vertical margin to anchors -

motive
google receantly added feature display mobile friendly pages in mobile google search. since did css tricks adopt mobile devices, i've confidently tried test, surprised results. although address 2 errors, there one, have difficulty fix it: links close together.
site sports menu list, altough fix (and may have) , adopt mobile screen without change in desktop appearance, links inevitabely ends above in each other in body of each page. on 1 page there list happens have list of links each other, i'm not sure apply css style list elements, leave greater space in between list items (yet). i'm not seeking on how resolve that, (like leave gap between them, if end above each other) because may fall under "rethorical" question category. (of course, i'm open suggestions, if have one.)

question
i've decided, i'll go ugly solution now, leave margin above&below each link regardless, surrounded with. changing margin did not worked. how can this? page i'm testing @ http://adam.lehelj.com/ sub-domain in in hungarian.

edit pages generated markdown using php library michel fortin , prefer not modify these files. has limited feature apply classes. (i believe title, code , links.)

the answer why cannot set margin top or bottom achor can found here, more margin top , bottom:

these properties have no effect on non-replaced inline elements.

one solution use set line-height on anchors.
